news-details

Veth Propulsion by Twin Disc has received the order of delivering thrusters for the two + two next generation Methanol MDO/HVO, powered DP2 Construction Service Operating Vessels (CSOVs) for Acta Marine.
The vessels will be built by Tersan Shipyard.

For each vessel, Veth supplies 4 L-Drives, type VL-1550 with a power of 1500 kW per thruster. The thrusters are equipped with nozzles and 5-bladed propellers with a diameter of 2.4 meters. The thrusters are specifically optimized to reduce noise and vibration, providing optimal comfort, for personnel, on board. While optimizing comfort, the efficiency to reduce fuel consumption and quality standards are high, as always. Veth Propulsion thrusters are always designed for 24/7 full load range. This ensures durability and avoids downtime.

We are very pleased to continue our cooperation with Acta Marine, with these orders, stated by the company officials on media handle.. Previously Veth Propulsion delivered thrusters for Acta’s first WSV “ACTA ORION”, as well as their four Ultra shallow draft offshore support vessels.
